The Four Pillars of WWE? | The Future Stars of WWE
We've all heard of AEWs four pillars. The four young up and coming wrestlers in AEW that are destined for greatness. That's also brought up the question though, who are the "four pillars" of WWE? That term probably doesn't apply as well with WWE, but it's definitely interesting to think about who the future faces of the company will be in 5 years or so. It's obviously difficult to predict due to the constant changes made within WWE, but there's certainly some candidates we can discuss
BRON BREAKKER
NXT 2.0 has certainly divided opinions when it comes to the televised product. The performers may also be a mixed bag too, but there's certainly some talented individuals, few more so than Bron Breakker. He seems like a lock for a future World Champion. He's got the look, in ring ability and obviously that family background which is always useful in the wrestling business. He's certainly played a big role in this new iteration of NXT and it'd be no surprise if that momentum continued on the Main Roster
PETE DUNNE
Despite him being active in the wrestling world for quite some time, Pete Dunne is still very young. There's very few young guns with as much experience as Dunne, which will no doubt benefit him the further he advances in his career. It's baffling that he's not held singles gold in NXT yet, he's such a gem in the wrestling industry and it's absolutely vital that he's utilised effectively. An English World Champion would be a breath of fresh air, and Dunne could easily fulfil that role
TYLER BATE
From one English performer to another, Tyler Bate is very similar to Dunne due to the fact that he's also insanely talented at such an early point in his career. Bate has made occasional appearances on NXT, but the majority of his time in WWE has been on NXT UK where he's been putting on constant classics. He's the first man in the brands history to become a Grand Slam Champion as he's just won the NXT UK Tag Titles a few days ago. Bate is such an elegant in ring performer and makes everything look so easy. Whether he's a tag team wrestler or main eventer, he can make anything you give him work. Everyone loves an underdog story, and Bate is literally the perfect candidate to execute that story with. If booked correctly, he could become really over on the main roster and quickly obtain a dedicated fanbase. He's a very likeable babyface which WWE is lacking at the moment when it comes to the main event scene. This is highly unrealistic, but imagine a face Tyler Bate with the fans behind him feuding with The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. It would be instant magic, and if you're not convinced, go ahead and watch his match with WALTER for the NXT UK Title
CARMELO HAYES
In a similar vein to Bron, Carmelo has been a shinning light on NXT 2.0 alongside Trick Williams. The duo are throughly entertaining and Carmelo is seemingly already the full package. He can certainly go in ring, he proved that in his first ever NXT match against the now AEW star Adam Cole. His promo skills are very solid too, he sounds like he means every word he says. He's been feuding with top guys in NXT 2.0 ever since becoming North American Champion, Johnny Gargano and the aforementioned Pete Dunne to be exact, and he even defeated both in a Triple Threat match to retain the belt. Word backstage is that Vince is impressed with the duo and rates them highly. We've heard those exact words many times so we shouldn't read too much into it, but it wouldn't shock me if Carmelo did become a big star. He's already gathering a big following, and when more and more people bare witnesses to his work, it'll only grow bigger
